Dine Around Seattle With Prix Fixe Meals for $30

Held every November and March, the bi-annual Dine Around Seattle Northwest restaurant promotion is gearing up for its eighth year. Formerly known as “Twenty-Five for $25”, the name was changed in 2007 when the number of participating restaurants increased to thirty and is now informally referred to as "30 for $30". Featuring many of the area's highly-acclaimed fine-dining establishments, food lovers can select among the featured 3-course prix fixe menus, each including an appetizer, entrée and dessert.
Inspired by New York City's “Restaurant Week”, a week-long festival for budget-conscious foodies run by the city's visitor bureau, Dine Around Seattle has been widely successful since the idea was first brought to the table by Richard Malia, owner of Ponti Seafood Grill, in 2001. Timed to fill the tables with new restaurant patrons during months when business has traditionally been slow, restaurants throughout the city are now seeing “increased sales in those months over previous years” as he explains in an interview with Seattle DINING!
The promotion runs through the months of March and November, valid Sundays through Thursdays only. The price does not include beverage, tax or gratuity. Restaurant menus are provided on the Dine Around Seattle website as well the individual restaurant websites. A 3-course dinner meal is $30 and several restaurants are offering an additional lunch meal for $15.
