Between March and April, maple farms and sugar houses throughout Ontario host their annual festivals, demonstrations and tastings of this year's fresh syrup production

Maple Syrup Festival - Bronte Creek Provincial Park, Ontario - March 1-2, 8-16, 21-24, 29-30, 2008 - Fresh Ontario maple syrup begins flowing and on weekends throughout March (daily during March Break) Bronte Creek holds its annual Maple Syrup Festival.

Sugarbush Maple Syrup Festival - Kortright Centre for Conservation and Bruce's Mill Conservation Area , Woodbridge and Stouffville, Ontario - March 7 to April 6, 2008 - 40th anniversary event with demonstrations, wagon rides, activities and pancakes with organic maple syrup! Special March Break and Easter activities.

Warkworth Maple Syrup Festival - Warkworth, Ontario - March 8 & 9, 2008 - Maple Syrup demonstrations, tours, sleigh rides, taffy on snow, log sawing, snowshoe racing, pancakes & sausages, dancing.

Purple Woods Maple Syrup Festival - Purple Woods Conservation Area, Oshawa, Ontario - March 8-16, 22-23, 29-30, 2008 - Pancakes will be flipping at the Central Lake Ontario Conservation Authority's Annual Maple Syrup Festival: a great family outing!

Maple Syrup Sundays - Westfield Heritage Village, Rockton, Ontario - March 9, 16, 23 & 30, 2008 - Join us for a living history programme not to be missed and visit the Westfield Heritage Village for the Maple Syrup Season.

15th Annual Buckhorn Maplefest - McLean Berry Farm, Lakefield, Ontario - March 15-16, 21-23 & 29-30, 2008 - Sugar Bush walking tour, Horse-drawn hay rides, pancake breakfast, Syrup and Sugar demonstrations, maple baking, toffee on snow (if snow available...), live music, pioneer display, tree tapping, kids activities at the fire. Orangeville Optimist Maple Syrup Festival - Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville, Ontario - March 29 & 30, 2008 - Pancakes and maple syrup, a tour of the sugar bush, and fun activities. Admission is charged at the gate.

Elmira Maple Syrup Festival - Elmira, Ontario - April 5, 2008 - Spring Time Ritual - It's maple syrup time at the world's largest Maple Syrup Festival: sap from trees into syrup to eat, all by local maple syrup producers.

Holstein Maple Syrup Festival - Love's Sugarbush, Holstein, Southgate, Ontario - April 5 & 6, 2008 - Maple Syrup making demonstrations in the sugarbush.
